Tax Refund Calculator for Pakistan
Most refunds exist because tax was withheld from you all year at rates that had nothing to do with your actual liability. Put the two figures side by side and see which way the balance falls.
Free, no sign-up. Every rate comes from the published FBR and provincial schedules.
These rates are pending final verification against the current Finance Act. Confirm with us before relying on them for a transaction.

The comparison
| Tax on the slab table | Rs. 0 |
| Total liability for the year | Rs. 0 |
| Tax withheld from you during the year | Rs. 0 |
This is an estimate based on the published salaried slab rates for the tax year selected. It is not tax advice. Your actual liability depends on allowances, tax credits, other sources of income and tax already withheld from you.
Worth knowing
- Only adjustable tax counts towards a refund. Tax deducted as a final tax — on prize bonds or dividends, for instance — is not refundable.
- A refund has to be claimed in the return for the year it arose. Claiming it later means an application under section 170 and a longer wait.
- FBR will not pay a refund into an account that is not in the taxpayer's own name and declared in the return.
Want the real number, not an estimate?
A calculator works from the figures you give it. Your actual position accounts for allowances, credits, other income and every rupee already withheld from you — which is frequently more than the tax you owe.
